Chief Christian Redman entered Law Enforcement in 1991. He is the recipient of many awards and has worked in almost all areas of Police work. During his tenure as Chief of the Hurstbourne Acres Police Department, Chief Redman has accomplished the following:
  • Accreditation of the Police Department
  • Expanding and updating personnel and equipment
  • Establishing a Block watch for the City
  • Moved the Police Department into its first and current location
Chief Redman is a proud Army Veteran and member Of Veteran and Civic organizations. He is a 20 year Fraternal Order of Police member.

Officer Rusty Bittle began his career at the University of Louisville Police Department in 1982, as a student assistant, and dispatcher until he became a sworn law enforcement officer in 1985. He has since worked at the Oldham County Police Department, City of Anchorage Police Department, and retired from the City of Jeffersontown Police Department in 2004. Since retirement, he has worked part time at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and has been working part time at the City of Hurstbourne Acres Police Department since 2010. He is a devoted husband, father, brother, friend, and a follower of Christ.
